James "Jim" E. Cline's Obituary
James “Jim” E. Cline, 67, of Fredonia, KS passed away Sunday, February 11, 2024, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, KS. Jim was born on August 24, 1956, in San Francisco, CA the son of Ralph and Joey (Fester) Cline.
Jim was a graduate of Fredonia High School class of 1974. After high school he worked various jobs in the oil fields and financial services until he found his niche of selling cars. He worked at Olathe Ford for 20 years until his retirement. Jim earned Salesman of the Year several times as well as other sales awards. After retirement, he returned to Fredonia to be near family and friends.
Jim joined Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Olathe. When he returned to Fredonia after retirement, he enjoyed attending the Cornerstone Christian Church. Jim said, spending that hour with God made the rest of the week better.
In 1993, Jim married Laura Kinch, and to this union they had one daughter; they later divorced, but remained close for their family. When Jim was younger, he was a member of the Boy Scouts. He loved watching all kinds of sports, going fishing, riding his motorcycle or just being outdoors. After returning to Fredonia, Jim got involved with the Fredonia Senior Center, and enjoyed helping deliver meals on wheels and visiting with those he delivered to. Most importantly, Jim loved his family, pets, and being an uncle and great uncle to his many nieces and nephews.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents.
Cremation has been requested, the family will be receiving friends at visitation on Friday, February 16, 2024, from 10:00 am until noon at the funeral home. A private inurnment will be held later at the Fredonia City Cemetery. Memorials have been suggested to either the Fredonia Senior Center-Meals on Wheels program or the Fredonia Pound Pals and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
