James Albert "Bubba" Pavlu 's Obituary
James Albert “Bubba” Pavlu, age 84, of Huntington Beach, CA passed away on December 10, 2018 at his home. He was born on September 5, 1934 in Hallettsville, TX the son of Albert and Mary (Valenta) Pavlu. James served in the US Navy from 1952-1960. He worked as an aerospace engineer. James was also proud to have become the first Orange County, CA HAM station operator.

James was preceded in death by his parents and son, James Edward Pavlu.
Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at 10:15 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Chanute, KS. Mass of Christian burial will follow the rosary at 11 a.m. followed by the burial at St. Patrick Cemetery in Chanute. Online condolences may be left at: www.countrysidefh.com. The family suggests memorials to be made to St. Patrick Catholic School and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Countryside Funeral Home, 101 N. Highland, Chanute, KS 66720.
