Janice Alma Allison's Obituary
Janice Alma Allison, age 86, of Howard, KS passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at Howard Twilight Manor. Janice was born November 19, 1928 in Spencer, WV, the daughter of Robert and Ethel (Stracher) Wright.
Janice married Arthur Allison June 1, 1953. They were married 55 years before Art passed away on January 8, 2009. She was a member of the Flinthills Assembly of God Church and the women’s auxiliary. Janice enjoyed knitting and crocheting, and loved being outdoors, gardening, and helping on the farm.
Janice is survived by her daughter; Brenda Coble of Howard, KS, sister-in-law; Pam Wright, nieces Janice Nading, Maxine Thorne, Patsy Lay, great-niece; Tabitha Harper nephews; Cleon James, Steve James, Russell Wright and three great-nephews; Mikey Nading, Levi Nading, and Brian James.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Robert and Ethel, sisters; Betty Hufford, and Ruby Noletensmyer, brothers; Raymond Wright, Roy Wright, Robert Wright, and nephew; Charlie Waggoner.
A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the Flinthills Assembly of God Church. Memorials are suggested to the family to help with cost of services, and may be mailed to the funeral home at P.O. Box 1233, Howard, KS.
Countryside Funeral Home is in charge of cremation.
