Janice Jane Lewellen's Obituary
Janice Lewellen 74, of Fredonia passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at Labette Health in Parsons. Janice was born on July 21, 1940 to Claude Tindle and Mary (McKinney) Tindle in New Albany, KS.
Janice attended school in Fredonia and graduated from Fredonia High School in 1958.
Janice worked as a housekeeper in nursing homes, was a librarian at the Altoona Library and was a member of the First Christian Church in Fredonia. Janice enjoyed reading books, playing hymns on the piano and birdwatching. Janice was a loving person who will be dearly missed.
Janice is preceded in death by her parents and siblings.
Janice is survived by her Daughter: Nancy Lewellen of Fredonia.
Cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time. Online condolences may be left at: www.countrysidefh.com.
