I just saw online that Janice passed away. I am so sorry for your loss, in my prayers are with your family. Janice and I grew up together. We were best friends. We used to have sleepovers a lot. Even after I moved away when I was 14, after my Dad died, we were still best friends, even after we both married. We lost touch for many years after her little girl died. After the internet came along, I searched for her online many times, but had no luck. Finally a couple of years ago I finally located her. I got to go visit her once and plan to again, but my daughter was sick a lot and I spent a lot of time with her in KU hospital, and then covid came along with the no travel thing. I have been waiting for them to rescind the the stay away no travel thing so I can go see her again. I have been trying to call her for a while and never got an answer. Then lately every time I called I got a busy signal. I thought maybe she had just changed her number so I did another search and then found out she passed away. I loved her like a sister even though we didn't get to get together very much. I wish I had known that she passed away sooner. Is she buried somewhere so that I could go pay my respects?
