Mrs. Roberts was my 3rd grade teacher at Roosevelt. She was kind and funny. I remember her introducing her husband once when he came by during the school day - it was the first time I'd ever met a red headed band director. Being a 3rd grader I told her this right away. She laughed so hard she cried. I saw her again 4 years ago, and she was just as kind and funny as I remembered her from childhood.
May her life be remembered just a fondly by all who knew her. God be with you all in this time of separation. Mr. Roberts, Susan, Lee, & all family my condolences. Mrs. Roberts was a jewel and treasure in her time with us.
