Janie Marie Watkins, age 71, of Thayer, passed away Saturday, December 10, 2016 at her home in Thayer. Janie was born on May 18, 1945 in Twin Falls, Idaho the daughter of Charlie Nelson and Dorothy Evelyn (Schoolcraft) Ferguson.
Janie was a mother, a grandmother, a great-grandmother, and she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren which she adored. She liked to help people and even worked as a home health aide. In her free time, Janie liked to fish, watch her Cardinals play baseball, and she loved listening to Elvis.
