Jason Neil Edwards' Obituary
Jason Neil Edwards, 37, passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Neosho Memorial in Chanute KS. Jason was born on September 6, 1978 in Stillwater, Oklahoma, the son of Rolland Edwards, Sr. and Sharon (Henderson) Edwards.
Jason married Alison Lester and later divorced. They had one daughter together, Addison Lester-Edwards.
Jason worked for Yeoman Trucking in Cherryville, Kansas as a truck driver; however, his real passion was being outside at his grill. He attended high school in Humboldt and completed the trucking program at Ft. Scott Community College. Jason loved to BBQ and enjoyed spending time with his neighbors. If his garage door was open, his neighbors were always welcome to stop by and visit and usually Jason would be outside to greet them. He was always watching out for his neighbors. Jason attended Tae Kwon Do classes and was a member of the Sons of American Legion. He was good with his hands – a real jack of all trades whether it was woodworking or crafting, or just fixing things around the house.
Jason was preceded in death by his father, Rolland, his grandparents Chester and Margie Henderson, his uncle Neil Henderson.
He is survived by his mother Sharon (Henderson) Edwards, fiancée Regina Dunn, daughter Addison Lester-Edwards of Humboldt, brother Jeff Edwards of Chanute, nephew Aaron Gambill of Chanute, 2 Aunts, and several cousins
