Jeanette Eileen Taylor's Obituary
Jeanette Eileen Taylor, age 95, of Fredonia, Kansas, died Sunday, March 11, 2012 at Fredonia Regional Hospital. Eileen was born on July 5, 1916 in Fredonia, KS the daughter of Warren “Rube†and Mary (Cox) Monical.
Eileen was a graduate of Fredonia High School; she then attended 2 years of Business College. Eileen was a life member of the First Christian Church in Fredonia. Eileen was a member and officer for several years of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She was a past member of the Rebekah Club, VFW, and Elks Club. Eileen was also a supporter of the Yellow Jacket Booster club.
Eileen was married to Orlan Leroy Taylor. He passed away in 1969. Eileen and Orlan were co-owners of the Monical’s Locker Plant in Fredonia.

Jim Taylor and wife Brenda of Tulsa, Oklahoma

Dane Taylor of Emporia, KS
Several nieces and nephews
Eileen was preceded in death by her parents, husband Orlan and brothers: Ralph, Kenny, Rex and Grant Monical
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 16, 2012 at 10:30 A.M. at the First Christian Church in Fredonia with Carl Thornton officiating, with burial to follow at the Fredonia City Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, March 15, 2012 at Countryside Funeral Home from 4-6 P.M. Memorials have been suggested to the First Christian Church and may be left with the funeral home.
