I have been asked by someone to write my thoughts on my friend and partner, Jeff Miller. You know, I guess it must be easy to be friends when people are perfect. You know, good social standing with excellent people skills, kind and polite at all times. These types of people must be very easy to be a friend to. However, I know none like that. Most people, myself included, have many faults. Perhaps there is only ONE being that I know of in history that was perfect. It is in HIM that my friend and I found our salvation. Jeff was saved! That may mean nothing to some, but it was very important to him.
When I first met Jeff, he was doing work at home. He fixed a motor on my 4-wheeler, 12 years ago and he did exactly what he said he was going to do. I was impressed. We continued to talk and do small projects until we decided to try and bring a business to Elk County. My father was sick at the time, but we pushed on. When I was upset about my Dad, it was Jeff along with others that prayed with me. I could go on with many stories about our friendship. Some great, some not so pleasant. But in the end, it came down to one thing. . .He was my friend and a true gift from God. I shall miss his stupid grin and handshake.
I extend my thoughts and prayers to his entire family. Ride on my friend. They say a person is not truly dead until he is forgotten. As long as I live, so shall you.
Your Friend and Partner but Most importantly Your Brother In Christ,
Randy J. Julian
