Jerry Norman Howell's Obituary
Jerry Norman Howell, age 93, formerly of Grenola, KS passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2017 in Wichita, KS. Jerry was born on January 3, 1924 in Longton, KS, the son of Clarence Norman Howell and Vyrl Corrine (Davis) Howell.
Jerry served his country in World War II in the Army Air Force where he attained the rank of Staff Sergeant.
Jerry married Susan Louise (Terry) Howell on March 21, 1953 in Bentonville, Arkansas. Jerry and Susan had three children, James, Martin, and Cheri. Jerry worked for 30 years at Boeing as a machinist and in his younger days loved to hunt and fish. He lived in Grenola almost 60 years.
Survivors include wife, Susan Louise Howell; son, Martin (Pamela) Howell of Wichita; daughter, Cheri Howell of Winfield; grandson, Justin (Rhonda) Howell of Wichita; great grand-daughters, Rachel and Roslyn Howell.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and son James Ellis Howell.
