His work ethic was matched only by his passion for life's simple pleasures. He found joy in the tranquility of boating and fishing, the friendly competition of card games at the Senior Center and poker nights with friends, and the satisfaction of tinkering on various home projects. He was known for his quick wit and playful teasing of his nieces and nephews, a beloved uncle with a generous spirit. His furry companions held a special place in his heart.
