Jerry Sue Methvin's Obituary
Jerry Sue Methvin, age 80, of Chanute, KS, passed away Friday, August 25, 2017 at her home. Jerry was born on June 1, 1937 to Milo James Thibeadeau and Mildred Kathryn (Eller) Thibeadeau in Muskogee, OK.
She married Kenneth Ray Methvin on March 2, 1956. To this union, two children were born, Eric and Susan.
Jerry was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She worked as an office manager for Edward Jones before retiring. Jerry loved to shop and also enjoyed sewing, gardening, and traveling in her spare time. She was very faithful in her beliefs and attended Westview Baptist Church in Chanute, KS. Jerry was also a member of the Red Hat Society, Women Missionary Union with the First Baptist Church in Wagoner, OK, and Junior League of Tulsa, OK.

Jerry was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
A visitation is scheduled for Monday August 28, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. at Countryside Funeral Home – Johnson Chapel in Chanute, KS. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at 3:00 p.m. at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Hulbert, OK. Online condolences may be left at: www.countrysidefh.com.
