Jessie Marie McGee's Obituary
Jessie Marie McGee, age 74, a resident of Fredonia, Kansas passed away Sunday, August 3, 2008 at the Fredonia Regional Hospital. Jessie was born on June 16, 1934 in Fredonia, Kansas the daughter of George and Ruby (Cooper) Luellen.
On October 25, 1952 Jessie was united in marriage to Karell McGee in Fredonia, Kansas. She was a homemaker. Jessie was a member of the New Albany United Methodist Church and the American Legion. Jessie enjoyed her flowers and she also enjoyed adopting stray animals.
Jessie is survived by her husband, Karell McGee of the home, one son Michael McGee of Texas, three daughter; Pat Gaudern and her husband Bill of Ottawa, Kansas, Shirley Walton and her husband Darole of Fredonia, Kansas, and Barbara Short and her husband Brad of Richmond, Kansas, a niece Sharon Perkins of Garden City, Kansas and great niece Heather Salyer of Surprise, Arizona, 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild and several other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters; Georgia Ogle and Mary Agnes Huguenin.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 10 AM Wednesday, August 6, 2008 at Weakley Cemetery with Pastor Rick Huguenin officiating. There will be no public visitation. Contributions are suggested to the Fredonia Regional Hospital and may be left with funeral home. Online condolences may be left at www.countrysidefh.com.
