Jill and I grew up as neighbor girls. We were always together playing dolls, riding bikes and telling each other our secrets. As most kids we had our share of arguments. We were not allowed to stay setting in the house so we made our own entertainment outside until our moms would yell out the door to get us home. We would ride our bikes to school until we were old enough to drive and then ride together to school. We were friends from the earliest I can remember. We would talk about how our life was going to be when we grew up and what it was like to die. After we went into the next chapter in our lives I moved away but would run into Jill frequently. We would start where we left off each and every time. Our neighborhood what we once knew will never be the same. People have died and moved on. Just a memory. But our friendship always lasted. Jill you are now resting in peace. You will be watching over your friends and family like you always have. Good Bye for now my friend. See you next time we run into each other and start where we left off. Judy Lacey
I am so sad to hear of Jill's passing - I work at a clinic here in Chanute, and can truly say that I've been touched by Jill's care and concern for every patient she brought in. Truly, for many, she was an angel on earth. I am sincerely sorry for your loss, and for all those that will miss her loving care.

She was my maid of Honer at my wedding for my husband and I 35 years ago and had a cute little girl with her.
I am very saddened by this. I loved Jill! She was so sweet and kind and I just loved visiting with her. She will be greatly missed! My thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends. I always thought she was and angel on this earth, now she is our angel in heaven! Christina Wimsett
