Jim Roberts Trigg

Jim Roberts Trigg, age 48 of Longton, KS, passed away February 14, 2021 at his home. Jim was born September 16, 1972 in Sedan, KS to Samuel and Martha (Jones) Trigg. He grew up in Elk Falls alongside one brother and two sisters. He attended schools in Moline and Howard before graduating from Elk Valley High School in the class of 1991. After high school, Jim enlisted in the United States Army in October 1992, serving his country for 4 years as Combat Engineer. He served overseas in Saudi Arabia. On June 22, 2009, Jim married Sandra Beasley in Miami, OK. Together, they spent 11 years together enjoying their children and grandchildren, and admiring some great scenery from the cab of his semi. Over the last few years, Jim drove a semi for Stone, Lickity Split, Complete Heavy Haul, and most recently, Kodiak Transportation hauling oversized loads across the country. He enjoyed driving his truck and was known to pull off the road sometimes just to enjoy the scenery for a while. Family was important to Jim, especially his grandchildren. He loved to see them happy, and if they needed something, he would do everything in his power to make it happen. He was a member of the Community Christian Church in Longton, and OOIDA, a truckers association. Jim is survived by his wife, Sandra of the home. Children Brandon Clarkson Emily Trigg Samatha Trigg Hannah Trigg Lisa Purgason Father, Sam Trigg Brother, David Trigg Sisters, Nina Teska and Mary Torres 3 grandchildren, Kyndall, Brantly, and Colton Nieces and nephew, Crystal, Amanda, Talisa, Megan, Natalie, Ana, and Charlie Great nieces and nephew, Amber, Chloe, and Samuel He was preceded in death by his mother, Martha Jane Trigg Memorial service for Jim will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at 3:00 PM at the Christian Community Church of Longton Friends may sign the register book at the funeral home on Thursday, February 25, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
