Denise Wright
She was my mom for almost 44 years. There were times when she was the most loving mother and at times stubborn! She was strong and a great baker and cook. In 1998 she had a stroke and I lived in Thayer Ks and had four kids us a full time college schedule and we would drive to Humboldt Ks three times a day checking on her and my dad. Then we moved into the double garage to be close and help. I always felt like I needed to be there for my parents. Years later We put a trailer on the property to help with mow, garden, can veggies and just to be close to my family. My patents mean the world to me. My mom had been going down for the past five years. Between our friend Diane, my kids, nancy and myself we tried to put off a nursing home as long as possible! We all took turns seeing her so just one person wasn't so overloaded. The past couple of weeks were so great with her. Her spirits and positivity were high. I had bought her several more night gowns the Tuesday before she passed. I can't say enough about my mom and my dad they may not have been perfect, but I sure wasn't a perfect child either!
