JoEtta Fern Conyers' Obituary
JoEtta Fern Conyers, age 84, a resident of Howard, Kansas passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at the Greenwood County Hospital in Eureka, Kansas. She was born on September 26, 1929 in Dawson, Nebraska the daughter of David Everett and Odessa Louise (Parker) Magers.
JoEtta worked for many years as a Pharmacy Technician at Batson’s Drug Store in Howard. She was a member of the Howard United Methodist Church. From paintings to crocheting JoEtta enjoyed doing arts and crafts.
She is survived by two daughters; Sharle Watkins of Howard, Kansas and Pamela Fickle of Towanda, Kansas, stepchildren; Renee Conyers, Kim Davis, Robert Conyers, Scott Conyers and Charlotte McElroy, one sister Maxine Misselwitz of Mercer Island, Washington, two grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Galen Conyers, one sister Helen Conyers and step-son David Conyers.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at Howard United Methodist Church with Pastor Stacy Ellsworth officiating. Family suggests contributions to Friendship Meals and may be left with the funeral home. Online condolences may be left at www.countrysidefh.com. Arrangements are entrusted to Countryside – Zimmerman Funeral Home, Howard, Kansas.
