Joey Cline's Obituary
Edith (Joey) Joeleen Cline, 90, of Fredonia passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at the Morningstar Care Home in Fredonia. Joey was born on January 01, 1933, in McPherson, KS one of twin girls to Julius R and Lela Jean (Hess) Fester.
After graduating from Fredonia High School, Joey worked at Boeing with her twin sister. They enjoyed confusing everyone when she and Judy would move around the plant. Joey also worked at the courthouse and helped with the election board.
On July 19, 1953, Joey married Ralph E. Cline. Joey dedicated her life to taking care of her family. She and Ralph were married for 59 years until Ralph’s death in October of 2012. In her spare time, Joey loved to play cards and she was a member of numerous Bridge clubs, she also enjoyed playing golf and watching her TV soaps.

Janet Ratzlaff and husband Rusty of Fredonia, KS
Six Grandchildren: Kristin Cline, Jared Ratzlaff, Kendall Cline, Ryan Ratzlaff, Evan Ratzlaff and Kayla Cline.
11 Great Grandchildren:
Numerous nieces, nephews and distant relatives that she communicated with often.
Joey was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ralph and siblings Bob Fester, Nancy Wells, and Judy Ward.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 19, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Countryside Funeral Home in Fredonia, visitation will be held 1 hour prior to service time, with burial to follow at the Fredonia City Cemetery. Memorials have been suggested to the Morningstar Activity Center in Fredonia, and they may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
