John Gene Kemmerer's Obituary
John “Gene” Kemmerer, age 68, of Humboldt, passed away Sunday, March 6, 2016 in Nowata, OK. Gene was born on August 1, 1947 in Chanute, KS the son of Charles and Ella (Bailey) Kemmerer.
Gene graduated from Humboldt High School. He enjoyed sports and loved the KC Chiefs, KC Royals, and K-State Wildcats. Gene always enjoyed helping others and he continued doing that in the various nursing homes he lived in. Gene was a member of the Leanna Christian Church and also served as treasurer for a period of time.

Gene was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Carl Kemmerer.
