Rare is it that John made a career that so many found it a joy to work with, Activities could be drudgery but no it would be light hearted and a true joy, it has been a pleasure to know you RIP Dick Adams
John Markley was in the Kansas Old Time Fiddlers groups that met in Howard. John would play songs that fit the occasion whether Chrismas, St. Patrick day or just old seldom heard songs. It was always a pleasure when he showed up. Delbert Lampson

Lois and family,
Sorry to hear of your loss. John was a great vet that was always so helpful to my boys. He took care of all their 4-H needs and was always so patient to explain what he was doing to their animals. He will be missed by many.

Art and I are saddened to hear of John's passing. We enjoyed his wit and wisdom in our Master Farmer meetings. His cowboy poetry and singing were wonderful(including his CD) He will be missed. Prayers and hugs to the family,

Sending hugs and prayers of comfort to John's family. I was so blessed to be welcomed into Sherri, Lance, Lois, and John's home so many years ago. Love you all!
Lois and Family--
We were sad to learn of John's death. Lois and I always enjoyed being with you and John in Rotary events through the years. His District Conference in Lawrence was one of the first we had attended, and we remember it fondly. I also remember PETS his Governor-Elect year, which featured President-Elect Frank Devlyn. John and I shared an interest in music and guitar playing, which I greatly enjoyed. And Lois always enjoyed visiting with Lois M., especially about their experiences as members of the same sorority at Kansas State. John was a great and dedicated Rotarian and he left a legacy of outstanding humanitarian service over the years.
