John Floyd Pritchett's Obituary
John Floyd, 59, of Wichita, Kansas left this world after a short and unexpected illness on January 12, 2022.
He was born April 30, 1962 in Guam to William H. and Evelyn M. Pritchett. They and niece Stephanie Eby precede him in death. CMSgt (Ret) John F. Pritchett proudly served in the United States Air Force and retired after 25 years. He continued working in leadership roles following his military career utilizing his gift to motivate and inspire others. He will be painfully missed.
Survivors include his wife and soulmate, Jamie; sons, SMSgt William J. Pritchett (Alexis) and Joshua TK Pritchett; grandsons, Colby and Clark; sisters, Debbie Scheonberger (Bill) and Donna Eby (Carl); brother, Doug Livingston; extended family, honorary son, David Scheonberger (Kim), Jamie's sons Wesley, Lucas and Carter Sampson; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, proteges, coworkers, etc.
Visitation: Monday, January 17, 2022, from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with family present from 5-7 pm at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd, Derby, KS 67037.
Funeral Service: Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at 10:00 am at Smith Family Mortuary Chapel, 1415 N. Rock Rd, Derby, KS 67037. Live streaming will be available for those unable to attend.
Graveside Inurnment: Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at 1:00 pm, Grace Lawn Cemetery, Road 15, Howard, KS 67349.
