Johnna Lou Martin's Obituary
Johnna Lou Martin, age 88 of Longton died Sunday, September 9, 2018 at her home. Johnna was born on January 5, 1930, the daughter of John Wesley Gragg and Denzel Marie (Lyster) Gragg in Fiat Kansas.
Johnna was a farmer, raising horses, cows, quail, chickens and geese, she raised registered Wire Haired Terriers. She loved to visit with her friends, spend time with her family and more importantly her grand and great-grandchildren. Johnna was an avid gardener, often staying out until after dark tending to her flowers.
On June 23, 1970 Johnna married Vernen C. Martin. Johnna and Vernen were married for 45 years until his death of June 1, 2016.

Denzel Marie Wright and husband Steve of Springdale, AR.
4 Grandchildren: Ryan Farrar, Casey Wright, Tracy Wright and Whitney Farrar.
17 Great-Grandchildren, 1 Great-Great grandchild
Johnna was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Vernen; 2 Brothers, Clayton Gragg and Wesley Warren Gragg; 2 Sisters, Clara Yetta Pape and Betty Sue Bedletter; 1 Grandson, Damian Michael Farrar.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 13, 2018 at 1:30 P.M. at Countryside Funeral Home in Fredonia KS, with Rev. Gene Benefiel officiating. Visitation will start at 11:30 A.M. prior to service time. Burial to follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Rainbow Meadows Equine Rescue, and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
