Jordon Braylon Willard's Obituary
Jordon Braylon Willard was born Wednesday, Sept. 2 at Overland Park
Regional Hospital to parents Brandi Robert and Brandon Willard of
Wichita. He weighed 7 pounds 8.8 ounces and was 19 inches long.
During his two short weeks here on Earth he touched many lives and was
loved deeply by family and friends. Jordon’s family was blessed to hold
his hand, touch his skin, sing to him, and tell him countless times how
much they loved him. After complications from heart surgery Sept. 15,
he passed away peacefully in his mother’s arms Wednesday, Sept. 16 at
Children’s Mercy Hospital. Family was comforted by finally getting to hold
baby Jordon after his passing and rejoice in knowing they will hold him
again one day in heaven.
Jordon’s maternal grandparents are Steve and Shari Robert of Fredonia;
great-grandparents, Francis and Colleen Robert (Fredonia), Sharon and
Gerald Christian (Altoona); great-great-grandmother, Flora Boles
(Fredonia); and Uncle Bret (Fredonia).
Paternal grandparents are Kimberley Beeson of Wichita and Gordon
Willard of Spearsville; great-grandparents Janice Reese (Wichita) and the
late John L. Reese; Ruth Willard (Ohio); great-great grandfather Albert
Baldridge (Wichita); Aunt Brittany and Uncles Scott & Devon.
Funeral services will be held at the Countryside Funeral Home in Fredonia
on Wednesday at 10:00 with a visitation for family to receive friends
beginning at 9:00. An additional service in Wichita’s First Pentecostal
Church will begin at 2:00 followed by graveside services at the Fairview
Cemetery in Cheney.

Dearest baby Jordon, please know what a great blessing it was to have
you for this short time. Our loss was definitely heaven’s gain as it now
has the most precious angel ever formed!
