Always looked forward to his specials at 5th Sunday Services. He always brought a joke, pun with him to put smiles on people's faces.
The first time I met Joe was over 40 years ago at my veterinary clinic. I don't remember the circumstances, I just remember him. I liked him immediately. Then one day I was visiting a friend at Pleasant Valley Manner and this guy went rolling by. "Joe!" We visited then and lots of times after. I would sing sometimes for the residents and he was almost always there. A lot of them would sing along with me including Joe. When I forgot the words, I would always say Joe help me out, and he always did. We will miss him.

Julie and Mike, I grew up just up the street from you in Moline. I also worked with your Mom for a while in Winfield at the Middle school. I cannot convey how sorry I am to hear about your Dad, Joe. He always was so kind. Know you, and the entire family are in my thoughts and prayers.
