Joseph C. Stussy's Obituary
Joseph C. Stussy, 84, of Altoona, Kansas died on Friday, January 16, 2026, at the Neodesha Care and Rehabilitation Center. Joe was born on December 21, 1941, in Ferryville, WI., the son of Pete and Helen (Harter) Stussy.
Joe worked many jobs throughout his life all over the United States, and worked as a lineman, and crushing rock. Joe loved to fish, was quite a s story teller, and was a fun loving character. Joe Loved cheese curds from Wisconsin, and when family came to visit from there, they knew they had better bring him some.

Joe was preceded in death by his wife Glenice, his parents, Pete (Pa) and Helen (Ma), two brothers John and Ed, and a sister Mary.
Cremation has been requested and graveside inurnment will be held at a later date. Services are under the direction of Countryside Funeral Home 420 S. 20th St., P.O. Box 247, Fredonia, KS 66736
