Joy Devon Streblow's Obituary
Joy Devon Streblow, 68 of Chanute, Kansas passed away at her home on Tuesday, July 23, 2024. Following Joy’s wishes, cremation has taken place under the direction of Countryside Funeral Home and no services are planned at this time.
Joy was born on September 20, 1955 in Dodgeville, Wisconsin to Robert and Greta (Hammitt) Streblow. Joy graduated from Chanute High School in 1973. After high school, Joy graduated from Ivy Tech Community College in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Joy worked at Wabash Technology in Indiana for 17 years. After relocating back to Chanute, Joy worked at Commercial Bank for 8 years. During Joy’s free time she loved to curl up on the couch and watch her favorite TV series and movies. She also loved to spend time in her garden, tending to her beautiful flowers, but most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Greta Streblow, son, Aaron Weber, and sister, Tracy Streblow.
Her memory will carry on with her sons, Daniel Weber of Chanute, Tyler Weber of Chanute, and Keenan (Paige) McKinzie of Huntington, Indiana, sisters, Pam Dunn of Chanute, Sandra (Rodney) Warren of Kincaid, Kansas, and Loree (Jeff) House of Ozark, Missouri, brother, Mark Streblow of Chanute, and grandchildren, Laila and Jamison McKinzie of Huntington, Indiana.
