Joyce Ann Frye's Obituary
Joyce Ann “Jo†Frye, age 32, a resident of Joplin, Missouri and formerly of Fredonia, Kansas passed away Friday, May 29, 2009 at her companion Don Brewer’s residence in Joplin. Jo was born August 26, 1976 in Phoenix, Arizona the daughter of Don Valdon and Nicole (Killoren) Frye.
Jo attended school in Coolidge, Arizona until her freshman year and then graduated from Fredonia High School class of 1994. Jo enjoyed singing and writing songs, drawing and painting.
Jo is survived by her mother Nicole Frye of Fredonia, Kansas, three sisters: Donelle Frye and Gerry Short both of Fredonia, Kansas, and Menda Harper of Coolidge, Arizona, her companion Don Brewer of Joplin, Missouri, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father.
Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday, June 4, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Fredonia Cemetery. Family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society and may be left in care of the funeral home. Online condolences may be left at www.countrysidefh.com.
