Joyce Ann Matney's Obituary
Joyce Ann Matney, age 66, of Fredonia, Kansas, died Friday, March 2, 2012 at Fredonia Regional Hospital. Joyce was born December 30, 1945 in Omaha, Nebraska, the daughter of Kenneth Calvin and Elinor Rose (Ball) Hunt.
On October 18, 1993 in Miami, OK, Joyce married Gary Lee Matney. Gary survives at their home in Fredonia.
At one time Joyce owned and operated the Yellow Jacket Grill in Fredonia, until she retired. Joyce enjoyed playing Bingo, collecting angels, and playing computer games. Joyce was also very involved in the raising of her grandchildren.

9 nieces and nephews
Joyce was preceded in death by her father Kenneth, one son Jerry Marvin Groff and daughter Janell Rae Groff.
Cremation has been requested, a memorial service will be held at Countryside Funeral Home in Fredonia on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 2:00 P.M.
