Juanita June Long's Obituary
Juanita J. Long age 96 died Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at the Life Care Center in Burlington. Juanita was born on June 2, 1921 in Casper, WY the daughter of George Calvin and Opal Eva (Lay) Bales.
Prior to moving to the Life Care Center, Juanita lived in Fredonia for 6 years with her son, and prior to that she lived in Benedict, KS for most of her married life. On March 9, 1942 Juanita married Melvin John Long. They were married for 41 years until his death of August 22, 1983.
Juanita was a homemaker, she enjoyed taking care of her family. She enjoyed going to the "Fiddlers and Pickers" groups to listen to the music and doing what she loved the most which was singing to people. Juanita also loved being able to go out and eat and visit with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Melvin, siblings: Thelma Irene Brandejsky, Harold Franlkin Bales, Sanford Clifford Bales, Virginia Doris Kiess, George Calvin Bales, Jr.
Cremation has been requested, with burial at Kechi Cemetery. There will be no services. Online condolences may be left at www.countrysidefh.com.
