I remember going with my Grandma Roena Talley to visit Juanita when we would go to Humboldt to eat Mexican food when I was a little kid many moons ago! She was a sweet lady!! Will miss her at the Burton Family Reunions!!

I am sorry I am out of town and will not be able to attend the services for Juanita. In the obituary it stated about her being an Angel on Earth, yes she was, and my Moms best friend. Such a nice lady, she will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with are with her family and friends.

Juanita was a very special person in my life. She was one of my very first baby sitters and she always loved to remind of that. :) Her and my mom had a great friendship here on earth and it's good to know they are together once again. She was an amazing woman and will be missed by many. Our prayers go out to the family.

She was a beautiful woman who always was a joy to visit with whenever we saw her in Humboldt. I'll be forever grateful for her kindness and how she welcomed us into her home...even though I'm sure we made way too much noise practicing with The 3rd Degree! I am so sad to hear of Aunt Nita's passing. What a wonderful woman she was. Her and Johnny took care of my Kids and were grandparents to them in every way. I'll always remember the plastic container with home made cookies each day that was a staple at her house. Also my kids had the best home made meals. Rest In Peace Aunt Nita
