Julia Christine Gage's Obituary
Julia Gage, 79, of Chanute, KS passed away in Wichita, KS on March 4, 2019. She was born in Branson, MO to Roy and Mary (McCumber) Stockstill on May 23, 1939, one of twelve children. At the age of 16, on February 11, 1956, Julia married Rev. Kerry Gage in Branson, Mo and spent 60 years with him before he preceded her in death on August 9, 2016.
Julia was a loving mom, grandma, great-grandma, and great-great-grandma. She was known for her welcoming personality and was loved by all who had the privilege of meeting her. Julia loved to sew and complete puzzles, especially jigsaw and Sudoku. She was a faithful member of Chanute First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rev. Kerry Gage; and nine siblings.
The family will hold a memorial service at Chanute First Baptist Church on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. Online condolences may be left at: www.countryside.com. The family suggests memorials be made to Gideons International and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Countryside Funeral Home, 101 N. Highland, Chanute, KS 66720.
