Julia "Judy" Riley's Obituary
Julia “Judy” (Bollig) Riley, age 78, of Chanute KS, passed away October 27, 2018 at Diversicare of Chanute. Judy was born on September 27, 1940 on the family farm five miles west of Earlton, KS, the eighth child of John E. and Sarah (Herrman) Bollig.
Judy attended Three Mounds country school and Altoona High School. At the age of 12, Judy contracted polio, and later developed Post-Polio Syndrome which disabled her later in life. She worked as a seamstress for the Burlington Overall factory until 1974.
On January 15, 1965, Judy married Willard A. Riley. He preceded her in death.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Willard “Bill”; sisters, Linda Miller, Jane Nottingham, Marie Kirkpatrick, and Patricia Lowe; brothers, Anthony Bollig and Robert Bollig; and grandson, Adam Bollig.
Rosary will be recited at 9:15 a.m. on Friday, November 2, 2018 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Chanute, KS followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at St. Patrick Cemetery in Chanute.
