June always had such a positive attitude. Every single time I saw her, as she would leave my office I would say, Have a good day June and she would turn and say: Every day is a good day. I worked with June when she was the dietician at Presbyterian Manor. I was best friends with her daughter Nancy. I adored June as she was like a mother to me. Before we worked together I was a fixture in her home. She never chased me out and there was always something cooking on the stove. I've often thought of June through the years and the fun we had in the kitchen at work and at her house. My condolences to all of the family. June and her children lived behind us in the Country Acres neighborhood in West Wichita. Her Daughters, played with my two Daughters; Khris and Cindy Richardson. Her Son, Andrew occasionally visited my husband as he worked in the garage. June was a huge influence on my youngest Daughter, Cindy. She helped get her employed at Presbyterian Manor in the kitchen. Cindy went on to become a restaurant manager. June always welcomed my kids and I was always amazed at how she was able to handle all situations, as 9 kids plus neighborhood kids was a lot!! She will be missed and I send Blessings and Prayers to her Family as they accept and grieve her passing. God Bless and Welcome her Soul into his Kingdom of Heaven.
