Karen Sue Thomas' Obituary
Karen Sue Thomas, 76, of Greenwood, MO passed away in Lawrence, KS on July 22, 2018. She was born to Elmer and Wanda (Barns) Taylor in Climax, KS on July 20, 1942. Karen married Bob Thomas in Humboldt, KS in 1959. From this union, two sons were born. The couple later divorced.
Karen was a loving mother, and grandmother. She was a very hard worker in the sewing industry from seamstress to manager, also working for 10 years in HR for Texaco in El Dorado, KS retiring in 1997. She loved sewing, quilting, crocheting, square dancing, and watching her grandkids play sports or dance. She will be missed by many.

Karen was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Richard Taylor.
A service will be held at Countryside Funeral Home – Humboldt Chapel in Humboldt, KS on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery east of Humboldt. Online condolences may be left at www.countrysidefh.com. Memorials have been suggested to the Arthritis Foundation and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
