Katherine Juanita Watts' Obituary
Katherine J. “Kathy” Watts, age 63, passed away at her home in Savonburg, KS on December 14, 2018. She was born in Iola, KS to Robert Lee and Erma Grace (Edwards) Moore on January 28, 1955. She spent 32 years with her husband, Herbert “Leon” Reed. He survives at their home.
Kathy was a loving wife, mom, and grandma who loved to crochet and was known as the “Cat Lady.” She had a way of making people smile, whether they wanted to, or not. Kathy proudly worked for National Garment in Chanute, KS for over 20 years before they closed in the mid-1990’s. She enjoyed participating in the Ruritans and the Senior Citizen Center in Savonburg during her spare time. Kathy will be missed by many who knew and loved her.
