Kathryn "Kathy" Ellen Pritzen's Obituary
Kathryn E. “Kathy” Pritzen age, 60, of Chanute, passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at her residence. Kathy was born December 24, 1953 in Camden, AR, the daughter of Wallace and Marion Dorflinger.
Kathy graduated from high school and then earned an Associate’s Degree. She worked as an administrative assistant to the Commandant, at the Pine Bluff Arsenal until her retirement.
On September 15, 1975 she married Richard Pritzen in Pine Bluff, AR. Kathy loved horses and was a member of the Chanute Bit & Spur Saddle Club, and the National Quarter Horse Association.
Kathy is survived by her husband Rick of the home, her mother Marion Dorflinger of Camden, AR, daughters; Morgan Michelle Pritzen of Pittsburg, KS, and Hunter Cheyenne Pritzen of Chanute, KS, two brothers; Mike and Joe Dorflinger and one sister; Susie Elsay all of Camden, AR.
She was preceded in death by her father Wallace Dorflinger.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service is being planned at a later date. Services have been entrusted to Countryside Funeral Home Johnson Chapel.
