There are so many wonderful memories of Kenneth which I have been reflecting on all week. I can recall my first meeting as a youngster maybe 5 or 6 years old. We were up in Kansas for the holidays and having visitors. I remember thinking Kenneth & Ruth were the most interesting & nicest couple I had met. I was always fascinated by Kenneth’s ability to fix anything! I can remember Kenneth coming over to get my car started on a cold January morning when my folks had already left for San Antonio and I was slow out of the gate. I had a fussy little car that got too cold I suppose and Kenneth knew what to do. Whenever we visited Kansas it was such a welcome sight to drive by Kenneth & Ruth’s and see them outside and wave or even better if they stopped by in the gator. My son got to experience the joys of spending time at the ranch with Kenneth & Steve a few summers ago and he still talks about Kenneth. Kenneth remains one of my heroes, he is a monument and a testament to the values of hard work, faith, love of family, caring for others and caring for all the gifts we are given. We will miss him so much but happy for all of the wonderful years we had him on this earth.
All my love to Ruth, Steve & family, Sally, Paula & family. Sending prayers for your consolation.
