Kevin Maurice Wiss' Obituary
Kevin Maurice Wiss, age 66 of Severy, Kansas, passed away March 28, 2023 at his home.
Kevin was born April 1, 1956 to Charles and Delores Wiss. He was raised alongside his 3 siblings in Wichita. As children, he and his brother Craig were close in age and pretty tight, and their older brother Doug would have to stay home and babysit them, so they would always do things to get him in trouble when mom and dad got home.
Kevin worked for Beach in Wichita, retiring as Crew Chief after 40 plus years of service. He was always willing to help anyone he knew and could do just about anything you asked of him. He was a handyman, and seemed to always be fixing things around his mother in laws home for her.
In his spare time, Kevin liked to shoot targets, but his favorite past time was camping and fishing. He and his brother would camp out at the Howard Lake every year. He didn’t have certain fish he liked to catch, it was more about just being out in nature and on the water that he was after.
On July 24, 1999, Kevin married Donna VanBuskirk. They have shared the last 23 wonderful years together.
He is survived by his wife, Donna

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, April 3, 2023 at the Severy United Methodist Church in Severy, KS
Interment will follow in South Lawn Cemetery near Severy
