Kirk Hartnett's Obituary
Kirk Hartnett age 76 of Fredonia, died Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at Fredonia Regional Hospital. Kirk was born on January 21, 1939, in Kansas City, MO., the son of Martin Driscoll and Ruth Mary (Kirkpatrick) Hartnett.
Kirk attended DeLaSalle Military Academy in Kansas City, he then attended Kings Point, in New York City, and then on to St. Benedict’s College in Atchison, KS. On November 26, 1959 at the St. Peter’s Catholic Church in KC, MO. Kirk married Madeleine Zahner. Kirk and Madeleine have been married for 56 years, she survives at their home.
Kirk worked at the ADM plant for 36 years and retired as the General Manager of the facility. He also served 23 years with the Wilson County Sheriff’s office until his retirement with the rank of Captain. Kirk and Madeleine spent their married life building the Timber Rock Ranch where they raised Santa Gertrudis Cattle.

Cremation has been requested with Funeral Mass on Monday, December 14, 2015 at 11:00 AM at St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Neodesha with Father Vacca officiating.
