Lamar Evan Mayeske's Obituary
Lamar Evan Mayeske, age 7, of Neodesha, Kansas passed away Saturday, May 10, 2008 as a result of an accident. Lamar was born on September 15, 2000 in Chanute, Kansas the son of Bradley and Annetta (Koehn) Mayeske.
Lamar was in the first grade at the Emmanuel Christian School in rural Fredonia. Lamar enjoyed reading, playing catch, camping, and fishing.
Lamar is survived by his parents, Bradley and Annetta Mayeske, two brothers Cody and Erik, and one sister Nikita all of the home. Maternal grandparents Glenn and Nina Koehn of Fredonia and paternal grandparents Dwight and Jeanie Mayeske of Fredonia. Great grandmothers Neoma Mayeske of Fredonia, Kansas, and Viola Fast of Halstead, Kansas and great grandfather Jesse Koehn of Moundridge, Kansas. Several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at the Church of God In Christ Mennonite, Fredonia, Kansas. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 6:30 to 8:30 PM at the church. Interment will be at the Emmanuel Church Cemetery. Family suggests contributions to the Emmanuel Christian School and may be left in care of the funeral home.
