Larry Leon Boan's Obituary
Larry Leon Boan, age 77, of Buffalo, Kansas, passed away Friday, January 13, 2017 in Chanute, Kansas. Larry was born on August 2, 1939 in Chanute, KS the son of Clarence E. and Margaret M. (Story) Boan.
On November 12, 1983, Larry married Pam (Mackey) Boan in Richmond, Texas. Pam survives him at their home.
Larry served in the United States Navy from 1956-1960. Once his service was complete, Larry began work as a millwright for feed mills and grain elevators. Before retiring, he also ventured into truck driving and farming for some time. Larry enjoyed spending his spare time at the Buffalo Senior Center.

Latina “Tina” Fitzgerald (Richard Blotz), granddaughters Alicia, Melissa, and Miranda, and grandson, James, of Texas
Stepsons:
Daniel (Amanda) Davis, Nate and Bella of Russell, KS
Tim (Crystal) Davis, Taryn of Beggs, OK
8 Great Grandchildren
Larry was preceded in death by his parents.
Cremation has been requested.
A private family gathering will be held on Saturday, January 21. Online condolences may be left at: www.countrysidefh.com.
