Larry Dean Ethridge's Obituary
Larry Dean Ethridge, 73, passed away at Ascension Via Christi St. Francis in Wichita KS on July 1, 2026.
Born on May 7th, 1953, in Chanute, Kansas. He was life-long long resident of Chanute, serving as parks foreman for City of Chanute for a number of years. Other various occupations include a foster parent, businesses man and sandblaster/painter.
Larry enjoyed many outdoor activities, including mowing and gardening.
He is survived by his wife of 40+ years, Bernice “B” Ethridge; his children, Travis Ethridge, Aime Cope and Angie Blair; three grandchildren; two sisters, Nola Colston and Gracie Smith; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Anna Elnora Ethridge; two brothers, Ernest and Floyd Ethridge; and a grandson Ayden Ethridge.
A celebration of Larry's life will be held on Monday, July 13, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Church of Christ. Family and friends are invited to attend and share memories
