Larry R. Hammer Sr.'s Obituary
Larry R. Hammer Sr., 81, of Coffeyville, passed away on Monday, April 6, 2026, at the Journey Home in Bartlesville, OK. Larry was born in Eureka, KS., on April 19, 1944, the son of Russell and Evelyn (Radar) Hammer.
After completing high school, Larry married Shirley Sue Shipman on December 22, 1963. Larry was drafted into the U.S. Army and served his country until receiving his honorable discharge. After eight years of marriage, Larry and Shirley Sue divorced. Larry then married Linda Maher, in this union they had three children, Taina, Larry Jr. and Ryan. Larry and Linda later divorced. Larry and Shirley Sue reunited and remarried, and she survives at their home.
Larry loved being outdoors, going camping, fishing, or just going country cruising. Larry enjoyed playing cards and dominoes with his friends and family. He was hard-working, kind, and loved his family.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 13, 2026, at Countryside Funeral Home in Howard, visitation will be held 1 hour prior to service, with private family burial at a later date.
