Larry W. Carlburg's Obituary
Larry Wayne Carlburg, age 65, of Buffalo, KS died at his home Saturday, April 28, 2012. Larry was born in Wichita, Kansas on December 7, 1946 to Kenneth Milo and Irene Mildred (Perkins) Carlburg.
Larry attended his first 8 years of school in Benedict and graduated from Fredonia High School the Class of 1964. After high school he attended 2 years of training in Wichita as an Aircraft Mechanic. In January of 1966, Larry was drafted into the U.S. Army where he served until 1968. In 1979 Larry joined the U. S. Army Reserves and served in the 179th Engineers Division until 1988. When not serving his Country; Larry drove trucks for varies trucking companies including Ruan, Colbalt, and Puckett Farms.
On April 6, 2007, Larry married Liz Durham in Oklahoma, she survives at their home.
Larry loved to go fishing anytime he could. He enjoyed being outside, spending time with his dog and most of all spending time with his family and friends.

1 Granddaughter Elin Diskin and 3 Grandsons: Gavin, Keaton, and Bently Ratlaff.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents and brother Don Carlburg
Cremation has been requested, a graveside memorial service will be held Thursday, May 3, 2012, at 11:00 A.M. at the Buffalo Cemetery with Chaplain Mike Graham officiating. Memorials have been suggested to either: the Buffalo Senior Center or Harry Hynes Hospice and may be left with the funeral home. Online condolences may be left at: www.countrysidefh.com.
