Laura Alice Ogle's Obituary
Laura Alice Ogle, age 76 of Fredonia, KS, passed away Monday, June 6, 2022 at Morningstar Care Homes of Fredonia.
Laura was born September 13, 1945 in Neodesha, KS to Louis and Verna (Shelton) Ogle. She grew up alongside 5 brothers, and graduated from Fredonia High School in the class of 1964.
Through the years, Laura worked as a waitress at different restaurants, and for several years worked at a camper manufacturer in Chanute. She enjoyed fishing and camping, and for the last several years, she lived at Morningstar Care Home of Fredonia where she loved to watch birds outside her window and spending time with the other residents. She spent much of her time crocheting blankets, and at one time, crocheted the Lord’s Supper.
Laura is survived by her brother, Garry Ogle and wife Brenda of Fredonia, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Verna, and brothers, Charles Ogle, Rex Ogle, Alford Ogle, and Robert Ogle.
A memorial graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Weakley Cemetery, west of Fredonia.
