We planned to be with your family to honor Lawrence's life at the funeral service but will not be able to be there. Lawrence was a very respected neighbor and good friend when

I grew up always knowing the whole Barr family. Lawrence was loved and respected by scores of friends and neighbors. He once told me "old friends are the best friends". He will be missed by many old friends, and so much more by the family. I'm sure his homecoming in heaven is a joyful celebration and Jesus has said "well done my good and faithful servant."

Barr Family,
I am so sorry for your loss of such a wonderful man. He will be missed by so many. In my mind I see him with my dad telling their hunting stories and laughing at what crazy things they did and they did some crazy things.
I can remember when I would come home in the summers with my kids and of course we would go to church on Sunday. If your dad saw me walk in with my daughter Staci he would turn his hearing aid off. Her scream was so high it hurt his ears. He would just laugh and say she had a set of lungs on her.
Remember the good times. There are so many. Celebrate his life.
Thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time.
