I remember working with Kathryn as a teenager in the 1960s at First Christian Church in Chanute. We took care of the nursery. She loved the little ones, and loved Jesus! Sympathy and prayers for her family.

Katy was so kind. About 30 years ago she invited my then 1st grader to her house to bake cookies. Her smile and friendliness were so infectious every time I saw her over the years. I didn't know her well, but I'll always remember that and the special blessing that she was to my special ed child.
We extend our sincere sympathy to Katy's family. She was a talented
and outstanding lady. She constantly did things to help people,
and enjoyed life to the fullest. She will certainly be missed.

Katy took a small group of "west of Humboldt ladies" on a 'van trip' to see the Oak Ridge Boys at Memorial Hall in Independence, KS. We went for lunch but Katy brought
dessert 😊. A wonderful day with a wonderful lady !

Katy took care of my children when they were little in the nursery when my mom went to Christian Womens Club. When I started working at Ashley Clinic she would come around with her baked goods to sell and donate the money back to children in our community. Katy always remember my children and asked about them when she saw me, and even brought little goodies for them on holidays and their birthdays. She had such a good heart and will be missed by many!
Kathryn was a special lady. She will be missed. Thoughts and prayers for the family.
Katy had such a contagious laugh. Didn't matter that you didn't know what she was laughing about, you were compelled to join in the laughter. She was always welcoming and kind. Katy was a special friend to my Uncle Everett. God's blessings to her family and friends.
