Leroy Lee Fraley's Obituary
Leroy Fraley, age 70, passed away Thursday, January 29, 2009 at the Fredonia Regional Hospital in Fredonia, Kansas. He was born on May 4, 1938 in Lincoln, Arkansas, the son of Arcle and Lillice (Pennell) Fraley.
Leroy retired from Boeing where he was a Tool and Dye worker for many years. He was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association and also the American Paint Horse Association. Leroy was an accomplished horseshoe pitcher and a member of the Horseshoe Pitching Association. He loved to fish and drive his restored 1950 Cadillac in many parades, and enjoyed going to auctions.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and one son, Curtis Lee.
Visitation will be Tuesday February 3, 2009 from 11 A.M. – 7 P.M., with the family receiving friends from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Countryside Funeral Home in Fredonia Kansas.
Services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at First United Methodist Church, 330 N. Broadway, in Wichita, Kansas, with Pastor Charlotte Coats officiating with visitation at the church one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at White Chapel Cemetery in Wichita. Memorials have been established with the Kansas Humane Society or the Coalition for Pulmonary Fibrosis and may be left with the funeral home.
