LeRoy Kenneth Weese's Obituary
LeRoy Kenneth Weese, age 71, of Chanute, KS, passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at his home in Chanute, KS. LeRoy was born on September 27, 1945 in Humboldt, KS the son of Otto Vanburen and Mary Opal (Hibbs) Weese. He graduated from Chanute High School.
On April 11, 1972, LeRoy married Cheri Grover in Neodesha, KS. Cheri survives him at their home.
LeRoy never knew a stranger. He loved helping others and always had a story or joke to tell. He was a family man and there was absolutely nothing that came before his family. He was the proudest papa. LeRoy loved attending his grandchildrens’ activities as well as taking them hunting and fishing. He was an avid sports fan who loved watching NCCC sports and his Royals. In between fishing and hunting trips, fish frys and car shows he was the hardest working man. After retiring from B&W Trailer Hitches, he went on to start a home renovation business with his beloved son. LeRoy loved to stay busy and lived every single moment to the fullest. He was a member of the Christian Motorcycle Association and the Gear Grinders Car Club.

LeRoy was preceded in death by his parents and sisters Donna Jean Bresee and Cecilia Weese.
A Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 5, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Chanute, KS. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, February 6, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the church.
